A LOVE STORY
Behind Mount Trail is a love story stranded on the shores of of the Gaspé Peninsula. Mathieu Jourjon created the company to win back a seamstress. He moved to Quebec City, changed careers in IT & accounting and launched Mount Trail.
ON THE SHORES
Beyond this change of direction, Mount Trail fills a need for ultralight equipment for outdoor enthusiasts. Our DNA can be summed up in three words: ultralight, eco-responsibility and local production.
We offer outdoor equipment that is intelligent in design, technology and creativity.

This venture is also a way to to offer an alternative to large retailers and companies. We propose values and a business model for future generations. We want to be an inspiration for our society, our environment and our community.

I have two dreams in life. The first is to have a happy family life. The second is to build an economic system that takes into account negative externalities such as jobs, local production, the environment, our community and social impact.
Mount Trail is the beginning of this dream. To build a fairer society , based on meritocracy, with fair economic rules, taking into account the environment, employment and people."
