1. Preparing the Sleeping Bag or Quilt :
Make sure your sleeping bag or quilt is clean and dry before putting it away. This will prevent odors and dampness.
2. Opening the Compression Bag :
Unfold the compression bag and open the roll-up closure. Make sure the compression straps are relaxed for easy loading.
3. Equipment insertion :
Carefully place your sleeping bag or quilt inside the compression bag. Avoid forcing the equipment to avoid damaging it.
4. Bag closure :
Once the equipment is in place, close the bag by rolling up the top several times until it is completely sealed. This ensures that no water gets inside.
5. Compression :
Tighten compression straps to reduce bag volume. Adjust straps evenly for uniform compression.
6. Storage :
Once compressed, attach the bag to your backpack or store it in a suitable place. Check the straps regularly to make sure they're secure.
7. Decompression :
To access your sleeping bag, loosen the compression straps and open the bag. Allow the equipment to return to its original shape before use.
