Mount Trail sponsors the Long Walk - 2022
Mount Trail opens its sponsorship program for the 2022 season with its sleeping bags. An ambitious initiative that was thought up with a Malbord beer in hand!
We decided to randomly select two hikers per long-distance route. Our goal is to go around the world a hundred times with breathtaking images.
The sleeping bags and quilts are 100% made in Quebec.
Sponsor all the rides in the world
A few days ago we decided to sponsorthru-hikers and long-distance hikers around the world. An ambitious programme, but we want to support our growth and the launch of our new Mount Trail branch in Europe.
Our goal is to have our sleeping bags on all the long hikes in the world like the Pacific Crest Trail, the Continental Divided Trail, theAppalachian Trail, the International Appalachian Trail, the GR in Europe and others.
Details of the sponsorship programme
At Mount Trail, there are no contracts or obligations. We base our trust on you! We order a sleeping bag + some accessories at "production cost". In reality, it is the production cost + 5% that counts for fuel, packing bag, etc. That's about a 30% discount.
Why only a 30% discount?
Our margins are 35% and we are 15%-35% below our competitors' prices. We don't count the US customs price, exchange rate and customs fees. The actual discount is over 45%-75% depending on the ultralight companies in the world.
In return?
We ask for photos where possible and beautiful landscapes. We will certainly ask for your permission to use them on our social networks, our website and elsewhere.

Why sponsor all the long walks in the world?
95% of our time at Mount Trail is spent behind a drawing board or sewing machine. In just 16 months we have invented 7 sleeping bags, 2 tent lines: expert and classic (in progress), and dozens of products.
One of Mount Trail's big flaws is creating content with our products. We know this and it has been a challenge since the early days. The main reason is time. When we spend time in the mountains, it is to test our products. It would take twice as much time in the mountains, but behind a camera.
Time is a luxury we do not have at the moment. We would like to trust hikers to walk the long-distance paths of the world for us!
CONCLUSION
Mount Trail is a small but growing company with an atypical vision on long distance hiking. We want to engage hikers and support their project! We want to grow the Mount Trail family through all our programs.
The reason for our crazy growth is to meet beautiful people. We want to put these women and men we admire in our hearts!
