Beef stew with vegetables and potatoes in a demi-glace sauce is your mountain meal. A meal consisting of braised beef with an assortment of vegetables and potatoes. This dish is enhanced with garlic and herbs from Provence.

Use:

  • Long hikes
  • Camping
  • Canoe, Kayak
  • Outdoors

Instructions for use:

  1. Boiling water 
  2. Pour hot water directly into the bag.
  3. Let stand for 5-6 minutes
  4. Taste

You can also pour the sachet into the pan, bring to the boil, simmer for 1-2 minutes and leave to stand for 6-7 minutes.

Portion of meals:

The portions of Happy Yak meals depend on your hunger. For a hiker with an average hunger, the portion is one. For smaller eaters or if your meals are accompanied by other dishes then you can have two meals.

Expiry date of meals:

Happy Yak meals have a best before date of 2 to 3 years.

Perfect for my needs!

Lightweight, compact and comfortable. Suitable even in warmer weather. I use it for bike camping where weight and space are an issue, and it's perfect! Don't forget that the zipper goes over the back to reduce heat loss (still comfortable)!

Highly efficient

I am very satisfied with my rectangular sleeping bag. Very warm, I have a -1° and I didn't feel the cold at all (it was 2° when I tried it). The only negative point is that it is heavier than what is written in the weight chart (950 vs 650 g).
